1. Sleep under the stars

If you have the chance, try sleeping under the stars in the Northern Hemisphere. The Northern Lights are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But you might succeed right in your own backyard? On those lovely summer days, gather a group of friends or call your loved one and camp out under the stars.

2. Host a movie marathon

Whether you prefer beach movies or films that transport you back to summer camp, some horror/thriller movies, or ones that take you on a magical romantic trip, throw a movie marathon with your favorite summer or all-time favorite.


Another summer theme is travel, like watching Mamma Mia! and Eat, Pray, Love. So, all you need for your own outdoor movie night is a projector, a white sheet (or any white background), and some popcorn and snacks.
